The orbit began on May 26, 2004. Forged in the contrast between a Solid Foundation established in the early 2000s and a five-year Hollow Orbit beginning in 2020, this novella deconstructs the mechanics of a high-profile haunting.

The text tracks the evolution of an anchor: from the weight of a seventeen-year ritual involving a heavy chain and a back pocket to the forensic dismantling of a modern digital loop. Using the perspective of a seasoned observer, the author provides the data necessary to transition from a subject of observation back into a sovereign agent.
