MARCO FRANCHINA

Marco Franchina (1961) was born in Italy and raised in Southern California. He first picked up a camera at the age of 18 and since then Marco has shot in every corner of the world.

His early career started as a fashion photographer working for many of the world’s leading fashion magazines. Marco’s work has been published in The Los Angeles Times Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone, Australian Vogue, Spanish Vogue, Italian Vogue, J-Crew, Macy's, and Interview Magazine where he was commissioned to photograph many notable celebrities.

During this period he developed an appreciation for fine art, lifestyle, and architectural photography. His fine art photography has been featured in galleries and art shows throughout the U.S. 

In addition to his professional and fine art photography, he is founder and curator of Ambient Nights, a virtual art gallery and magazine.

Marco currently splits his time between Palm Springs and Los Angeles where he continues to work on his commercial and fine art photography.
