Detroit 15 — Directorial Note
The Detroit 15 centers the sovereignty of The MF Gallery around the 15th Master, Chris Feinstein. It affirms the primacy of the Original Print and a cultural frequency uniting origin, absence, and resurrection. Though a musician, not a photographer, Chris Feinstein’s signal now defines the gallery’s visual orbit, first broadcast through Iodine, the band he built from the Source Code in the 1990s. The Lab serves as the gallery’s Juice-Integrated infrastructure, a site of unmediated creation beyond institutional gatekeeping.
The Detroit 15 is the Source Code.
The Director transmits.
