Meredith Fleischer was born in the suburbs of Detroit and studied Fine Art Photography at The College for Creative Studies (BFA, 1999), Detroit, MI and Cranbrook Academy of Art (MFA, 2002), Bloomfield Hills, MI. 

She refined her photography curatorial skills while working as the Art Director and Art Department team member at premier creative management companies in New York City. She curated the portfolios of world renowned fashion and portrait photographers including; Miles Aldridge, Gilles Bensimon, Francesco Carrozzini, Walter Chin, Michel Comte, Anton Corbijn, Fabrizio Ferri, Pamela Hanson, Steve Hiett, Greg Kadel, Todd Oldham, Melvin Sokolsky, and Deborah Turbeville among others. 

In 2020, Meredith created @themfgallery, an educational Music and Fine Art Photography Instagram Blog primarily focusing on the work of 20th Century Photographers. In February 2022, she curated "PAST/PRESENT", a dynamic display of Detroit street scenes, a photography exhibition featuring the works of five Michigan based photographers at Hatch Art Gallery & Studios in Hamtramck, MI. 

In 2022, Meredith expanded the blog to an online Fine Art Photography print shop and launched themfgallery.com, featuring "Manhattan 1982" a collection of Limited Edition Signed Prints by Toronto based photographer, Gun Roze. 

The MF Gallery currently represents photographers; Marco Franchina, Jim Frank, Dave Green, Don Hudson, Patrick D. Pagnano, Amy Sacka, Sarah Simon, Leanne Staples, Matt Weber, Michael Weinstein and Wolf Weintraub.
