WOLF WEINTRAUB
Fine Art Photographer & Master Printmaker
1947–Present | Born in Munich and raised in Detroit, he is a self-taught photographer whose career has been defined by a deep technical mastery of the medium. After a decade as a freelance photographer in Paris, he spent 15 years at the studio of legendary French fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, serving as a key assistant and the designer and printer of Demarchelier’s commercial portfolios.
Biography
His journey in photography began in New York City and Paris, where he immersed himself in the world of high-stakes freelance photography. This international experience led him to the studio of Patrick Demarchelier, where he spent 15 years honing the precise craft of portfolio design and exhibition printing. This tenure at the pinnacle of the fashion world informs the meticulous quality found in his own personal work today.
In addition to his personal practice, he is the founder and owner of Wolf Prints, a specialized portfolio printing studio dedicated to helping other photographers achieve professional-grade results.
